Campground Rules

  • Overnight Campers: Check in: 2:00 p.m. - Check out: Noon
  • Neighbors—Please respect the privacy of others and do not cut across occupied sites.
  • Quiet time begins at 10:00 p.m. (city enforced)
  • Guests are responsible for their conduct and that of their visitors and pets for any damages resulting from their actions.
  • Speed limit is 5 mph in the campground.
  • Campfires
    • No fire should be unattended
    • Fires must be extinguished before retiring
    • Must be in designated fire ring
    • Subject to any fire bans/regulations
    • Firewood available for purchase
  • Garbage and Litter
    • All garbage must be placed in plastic bags and discarded at the garbage collection site found at the campground entrance.  
    • Do not leave garbage or litter at your site.  
    • Failure to clean up your site will result in a minimum $50.00 charge
    • Must be taken to the designated dumpsters. 
    • No electronics, large furnishings, grills, satellite dishes, large boxes, foam, etc. can be thrown into the dumpsters. It’s the camper’s responsibility to have those items recycled/disposed
    • Anyone not following policy will be fined $50.00 per item
  • Fireworks are not allowed per city regulations.
  • Golf Carts
    • Golf Cart driver must be 16 years of age to drive unless supervised by an adult
    • Proof of insurance is required prior to campers operating a golf cart on Lake Pepin Campground property and shall be furnished annually
    • Operation of golf carts outside of the campground limits requires registration of your golf cart with the Village of Pepin
    • Operation of golf carts with Lake Pepin Campground is limited to the developed roads (no off-roading)
    • Golf carts shall be operated at speeds not to exceed 5 mph 
    • Golf carts must be equipped with adequate lights to operate after dusk.
  • Pets
    • Domestic pets are welcomed;
    • MUST be leashed when not in camper. 
    • Waste must be picked up immediately.
    • The owner assumes all liability and responsibility for the conduct of their pet, at all times.
    • Dogs are allowed at the campground, but must be controlled by an invisible fence or leash.
    • Dogs are not to be left outside unattended. 
    • The owner of dogs that bark uncontrollably will be asked to leave with their pets. 
    • Anyone found not picking up after their pet will be charged a $50.00 fee for clean up.
  • Restrooms and Showers and Laundry Facilities
    • Facilities are exclusively for our campers and guests. 
    • Anyone found vandalizing restrooms, showers or laundry facilities will be asked to leave the campground 
  • Overflow parking
    • Items parked in the overflow parking must be approved and receive a parking permit from Lake Pepin Campground
    • Parking Permit must be visibly attached to item
    • You must mow around your item.
    • Neglect of mowing will result in removal of item
    • Lake Pepin Campground reserves the right to request removal of items at any time.
    • Items must be removed at end of season or termination of contract
  • Landscaping
    • Improvements made to campsites by campers, including without limitation trees or bushes, become the property of Lake Pepin Campground.
    • Fire rings and picnic tables that are furnished by Lake Pepin Campground remain property of Lake Pepin Campground
  • Posts for satellite dishes are allowed, but must be removed upon termination of contract. Any post put in the ground for a satellite dish is a $50.00 charge if not removed with the dish when terminating this agreement. 
  • Clotheslines are not allowed, they are dangerous, especially at night
  • Swimming Pools
    • Require approval of Lake Pepin Campground
    • Shall not be left unattended
    • Are sole responsibility and liability of camper
  • Trampolines are not allowed
  • The camper is liable for maintaining their campsite and keeping it neat and orderly.
  • Please notify management of any complaints at the time they occur. 
  • Lake Pepin Campground is not responsible for lost or stolen property
  • Failure to comply with these rules may result in eviction from the park. 
  • Rules are subject to be updated at any time
  • These rules and regulations are put in place to keep all campers safe and in a good camping environment.
  • Lake Pepin Campground RESERVES THE RIGHT to update, interpret and enforce all the rules for the benefit and safety of all.
